Three Week Birthday

Austin's already three weeks old! He is doing what every newborn does: cry, eat, poop, and sleep. He is getting more alert during the day. We are having tummy time every day, and he seems to enjoy looking at himself in the mirror. Josh and I are adjusting to "baby schedule"; we are up every three-four hours for nursing and diaper changes. Josh is wonderful about diaper changes and swaddling after I nurse Austin.

I will try to get better about posting pictures and updates. Lack of sleep is catching up with me, and I can't seem to get anything done! :)

Austin at 3 days old

Our handsome little guy is three days old and of course, the cutest baby on the planet! (Not that I am biased or anything) He has a good set of lungs on him - especially in the middle of the night. :)

All is going well in the hospital. He continues to pass all his assessments. Weight and blood sugar are both good.

I'll send better updates when I am not so sleep deprived! :)

Welcome to the World, Austin Charles Duffus!

Austin Charles Duffus made his entrance into the world on June 2, 2009 at 8:32 AM. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. and is 20 1/4" long. Surprisingly, his hair is platinum blonde! We will post more pictures later...but enjoy these first day shots until we download more!
